What did you spend your third transfer on?
I spent much of the transfer on buying cattle for keeping and cultivated rice for cash crop.
How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
Am now occupied because I have done some investment; I work in my rice farm and look after my cattle. Am also thinking of ways to improve my life because I now have a source of income.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
GD did a great job in improving the lives of people here, however there are very needy people who were left out and I wish you would improve on that.

What did you spend your second transfer on?
I spent half of my second cash transfer on leasing a farm for a farming project, bought a sofa set because I didn't have chairs, I also bought a few household items that I was in need of.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life.
The biggest difference in my daily life is that I have ventured into farming with my cash transfer and I'm hopeful that it will earn me an income after I harvest.

What did you spend your first transfer on?
I spent 5,000 KES of my first transfer on burial arrangement of my father -in -law,bought fisherboard at 2,400 KES, some paint at 500 KES and 2,000 KES was spent on house shopping.
What are you planning to spend your upcoming transfer on?
I am planning to invest part of my next trnsfer on rice farming which have done for a very long time,buy a tailoring machine for my wife because she pursued a course on that and open ashop for selling household items like cooking oil,sugar among other things.

We are planning to spend our transfer on improving our farming by leasing some land and paying for a tractor to do the ploughing.

The achievement I am proudest of is paying dowry for my wife.

The biggest hardship I am facing in my life is lack of enough money to effectively take care of my family's needs.
What is the happiest part of your day?
The happiest part of my day is in the evening when I have completed all the day's tasks and so I am able to relax at home.
