What did you spend your third transfer on?
I spent my third transfer on buying four goats 14,000 and sofa seat seats 10,000 KES . I bought a steel door 7000 KES and a bag of maize 3000 KES. I fixed two steel windows 7000 KES . I also household expenditure.
How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
My life is different than it would have been if I never received the transfer in that I am now living in a decent house that I didn't have before which was old and made of second hand building materials that I had borrowed from my neighbor's. I also educated my children with ease paying their school fees on time.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
In my opinion,GiveDirectly did well by giving the poor money which was un-refundable in my village and now the living standards of this households have improved greatly as they have acquired what they didn't know they could have in life.

I spent my second transfer t construct a new and bigger house as the previous was too small and old. The remaining amount was spent on paying school fees for my child in secondary school.

The biggest difference in my life is that is that I can now comfortably sleep in a much better looking and spacious house.

I spent my first transfer on cultivating my farms with hopes of harvesting abundant food to feed my family. I also spent the remaining cash on buying food to feed my family.

What are you planning to spend your transfer on?
I plan to use part of my transfer to build another house since the current one is old and weak,I will also invest bit of it on Watermelon and tomatoes farming and use the remainder on buying one cow to raise.
What is the achievement you are proudest of?
The achievement I'm proudest of is having saved money and built my current house.My husband passed on leaving me in a thatched house which would leak every time it rained.
What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
The biggest hardship giving me sleepless nights is the poor state of my house, the inside walls are almost falling down.
What is the happiest part of your day?
The happiest part of my day is in the morning when I'm attending to my vegetables farm.I grow Kales next to the river which I sell for income.
