Do you have any new or additional goals for your life for the next four months?
My new or additional goal for my life for the next four months is to start the tomatoes business. I thought of it because I ever runned it before, though it collapsed because I totally depend on it for survival and I had no money to boost the remaining stock. I would wish to have an additional source of income as financial security because I do not want to go and beg my neighbours again for financial assistance yet, Give Directly has empowered us economically. Having an additional income will enable me to pay school fees for my school-going children with great ease.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life in the last four months preceding the current transfer.
The biggest difference in my daily life in the last four months preceding the current transfer is that I am staying a hopefully life. I have surety of monthly income hence I do monthly shopping for my family which used not to happen before. Life was terrible because I depended on casual work for a livelihood , which was not reliable at times. I thank Give Directly we don't miss meals today unlike before I weak could never end without us going to bed without eating. Having monthly income has also created a positive financial image between us a business people in our village. They now respect us because we can afford to buy goods on large quantities unlike before we started receiving money from Give Directly. I tell you they are highly willing to even give us goods on credit because they have surety that we will pay by the end of the month.
How do you expect your life to change in the next six months?
In the next six months, I expect to have a stable tomato business. Having an additional income will be a plus to me because I will be in a position to provide basic needs for my family with a lot of ease. I also expect to have less financial stress that rises form school, thus I am planning to use the profit to settle school fees for my children as early as possible so that my children also get enough time to study.

How is your life currently different from how it was four months ago?
I have been using the monthly transfers to buy food for the family so that we have enough that can sustain us into the future. For me, having enough food to feed the family is the number on priority. Of late I have been pre-occupied by planting activities where I take my time planting kale and later re-sell them within the locality.
Do you have any new or additional goals for your life for the next four months?
I am planning to make sure that I buy enough fertilizers and seedlings in preparation for the oncoming planting season. I know that by using fertilizers I will be able to get so much harvests that will be enough to feed my family and also get enough surplus that I will sell out and make some little cash from the transactions.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life in the last four months preceding the current transfer.
I have been using the monthly transfers to accomplish so many goals which include budgeting for the for entire month so that we do not have to miss food as well as other minor items that we use within the house on a day to day basis.
How do you expect your life to change in the next six months?
I expect to save some cash every single month for the coming months with the main aim of doing so being to get to start a green house project where I will be planting tomatoes and selling them just within the locality. My goal is to become self-reliant in the near future so that even if we get to such a time when the transfers will have been stopped, I should be able to carry on with my life as usual.
