What did you spend your second transfer on?
I spent 30,000 ugx on buying food and clothings for my family. Then I am planning to spend the balance of 1,600,000 ugx to construct a two roomed iron roofed house.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
Give directly has done so well to uproot me from poverty through sending me the cash transfers. I am so happy for this. On the other hand there is nothing wrong that Give directly has not done so well.
How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
In the past my life was so miserable in that I did not have a decent house and my family could barely afford a decent meal. Give directly has changed my life. I can now afford a decent meal and dress very well. My life is much better than it was and I am a living testimony of what givedirectly has done to change many lives.

What did you spend your first transfer on?
I spent my first transfer to buy two cows at 1,000,000 ugx because when it calves, I will benefit with the milk and sell off the calves if need arises. I also bought some household items and beddings. I bought beddings because I used to sleep just on ragged clothes or a ragged mat until morning but now, sleep well. I then bought some clothes for family members and myself.
Describe the moment when you received your money. How did you feel?
Since many people had not yet got transfers, I was also worried that I could be among them for long but he moment I recieved my money, I felt my heart leap with happiness and relief.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life.
The biggest difference in my daily life is the two cows I have bought that are like my assets. This is because to me, I will never be the same as before. In case of any thing that requires much money, I can just sell off one of my calves and the issue is sorted. I will also be selling milk from my cows as a daily income.
