How is your life currently different from how it was four months ago?
The difference in my life currently is having an increased source income. In addition to the monthly transfers, I have been generating some profits from my business. This has helped me to acquire adequate food for my family. Moreover, it has been so easy for me to support my daughter's education because the transfers always come on time.
Do you have any new or additional goals for your life for the next four months?
In the next four months, my additional goal is to expand my business. I am planning to restock and have a variety of products which the customers will be able to get whenever they come. When the business grows, it will generate more profit which will help me to support my family members comfortably.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life in the last four months preceding the current transfer.
The biggest difference in my life in the last four months is paying my daughter's school fee promptly. In the past, life was really hard and I was at the verge of giving up to support her education. Most of the time she could be sent back home and stay for about two weeks before she reported back to school with the little cash I could raise for her school fee. In the recent past, she has been having ample time to study for the whole term without being sent home. The transfers from GiveDirectly has indeed brought a difference in my life and I am indebted to GiveDirectly for the financial support.
How do you expect your life to change in the next six months?
In the next four months, I expect my family's living standard to greatly improve because I shall be having some money to cater for their basic needs. They will be taking three meals a day as well as getting other basic needs such as good shelter and nice clothes. They will thus be smart because they will be properly groomed.
