How is your life currently different from how it was four months ago?
My life is currently different from how it was four months ago because l am now staying in a nice plastered house, after being the talk of the day that I will never stay in a plastered house in my life being that I am very poor in that even the house I have plastered was built by the church members. Do you have any new or additional goals for your life for the next four months?
I have a new goal of starting a business of selling cereals but it is very unfortunate that I am not able to start it because of lack of capital being that I have spent all the money that I received from give directly. Although I can sell some of my chicken to start the business.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life in the last four months preceding the current transfer.
The biggest difference in my daily life is that l was able to plaster my house using the money I received from give directly . I am very happy and proud I no longer walk in people's households looking for cow dang to smear my house. My children can walk and sit on the floor comfortably without worrying of being affected with jiggers as compared to before. I am now happly staying in a nice plastered house which i did not know that i could every stay in because the house was also built buy my church member .
How do you expect your life to change in the next six months?
In the next six months l expect to have started my business selling cereals and getting profit for my family up keep.

Describe the biggest difference in your daily life since you started receiving payments from GiveDirectly.
I have been longing to have a cow in my life because it has been a source of pride in the community. Since I did not have, I have been feeling less person in the community but now that I have it, I feel proud and equal to my fellows.
How do you expect your life to change in the next six months?
I would want to plaster my house so that it may be presentable and neat.
How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
I can now go herding my cow just like my neighbours, My children are always in school. They have never been sent home for school fees as before and we eat well as a family.
Do you have any new goals that you didn't have before receiving the transfer?
I would wish to start up a business to help boost my income.

What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
The biggest hardship I have faced in life is losing my 4 children who used to give me financial support. I am now left with four orphans children to look after.
What is the happiest part of your day?
The happiest part of my day is in the morning while having my daily morning devotion.
What are you planning to spend your transfer on?
I am planning to spend my transfer on plastering my house, both the floor and walls and the remaining I will use to buy a dairy cow.
What is the achievement you are proudest of?
The achievement I am most proud of is buying a cow and a bicycle from a merry go round savings that I had joined.
