What did you spend your third transfer on?
The larger part of my third transfer was spent on paying off dowry. I am happy since my husband has regain his respect to his in -laws as he was a laughing stack.I paid cultivation fees to plant rice and hired a piece of land to plant cereals like maize in it.I have partly bought a piece which I am planning to build my homestead if I have completed paying the deficit of 60,000 KES to the owner.
How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
My life is different than it would have been if I never received the transfer in that my dowry has been paid off hence I am happy because my husband has regain his respect to his in -laws as he used to be a laughing stack in eyes of my in-laws.I am thankful to GiveDirectly .
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
In my opinion, GiveDirectly did well by giving money directly with on strings attached without involving middle- men such as local leaders as other organisations usually do.

What did you spend your second transfer on?
I spent my second transfer on buying furniture,beddings and a dairy cow. I also invested in rice farming.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life.
The biggest difference in my life is that now have a dairy cow that supply me with milk and sell extra for my daily income and hopefully I'll be sell rice produce and start cereal business.

I spent my first cash transfer to pay school fees worth 1500 KES,utensils 2500 KES ,shopping 1500 KES,chicken 800 KES,maize 750 KES invested 5000 KES on farming and finally gave out 500 KES as tithe .

We're planning to spend our transfer on buying house furniture,payment of dowry and lastly use the remaining amount to pay school fees for my children in primary school.
What is the achievement you are proudest of?
The achievement we're proudest is having leased some farm last year and planted rice which gave good harvest.

The biggest hardship we face currently is on making ends meet,we rely on casual jobs which in most cases are not readily available.

The happiest part of my day is in the morning when I'm doing cleaning around my house,I pride on clean and tidy house.
