What did you spend your third transfer on?
I spent part of my third transfer on leasing a one acre piece of land where I have since grown sugarcane given that I am a farmer. I am hopeful that after six months I will be harvesting. The remaining amount, I spent on food for my family consumes. May God bless GiveDirectly.

What did you spend your second transfer on?
I spent the larger part of my second transfer on building a decent iron sheet two roomed house 38,500 KES.I am very happy since I no longer stay in a leaky grassed thatched house . I also bought four goats and cultivated my farm by use of a tractor in preparation of planting maize.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life.
The biggest difference in my daily life is that I have a decent two roomed iron sheet house thus this situation gives me joy since I no longer stay in a leaky grassed thatched house.I am so thankful to GiveDirectly.

I am living in a leaking thatched house so planning to build an iron roofed house and buy a cow for ploughing when I receive the upcoming transfer payment.

What are you planning to spend your transfer on?
Firstly, I intend to use part of the transfer to build a bigger house, because this one is just too small, and is in a bad condition. Secondly, I plan to use another part of the transfer to buy two cows that would provide us with milk for family use, and sell surplus to the villagers for family income. Lastly, I plan to use the remaining amount to plough my farms, where I intend to grow maize, for food security.
What is the achievement you are proudest of?
The achievement I am very proud of is, having built this my house, with savings from my fishing activity.
What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
The biggest hardship I have faced is, inadequate income to buy food for my family on a daily basis, due to unreliable source of income.
What is the happiest part of your day?
The happiest part of my day is in the evenings, when I am listening to radio, after having supper.
