Do you have any new or additional goals for your life for the next four months?
My new goal is to start keeping poultry. I intend to improve the poultry house that I have and adding chickens to rear. I will buy at least 10 hens. I am glad that this will add to my daily income. I will allow my chicken to hatch to great numbers. Later, I will be using some of the transfers from GiveDirectly for freed and also vaccines.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life in the last four months preceding the current transfer.
The biggest difference in my daily life in the last four months is the ability to buy a dairy a cow. I used to have been participating in a merry go round of about ten people in my village. We collect about kES 10000 per month. When I received my contributions, I saved the money in a mobile money account until I got the third round that made a total of KES 30000. I used the money on buying a dairy cow. This is the best time in my family since we get milk for my household on a daily basis for the last four months. These are the first four months in which I produce milk after a very long time. My life has greatly improved.
How do you expect your life to change in the next six months?
I expect my life to have improved greatly because I will have two daily income sources; from milk production and eggs. Establishing a chicken keeping business will give me an additional income. This project will be complete in the next six months. I will be using the money on meeting my daily needs and those of my children who are school going. I hope that I will be getting enough from my farming ventures to support our humble lifestyle post this Corona Virus pandemic. Thanks a lot, GiveDireclty.

Do you have any new or additional goals for your life for the next four months?
In the next four months, I have an additional goal to construct a new house. Currently we have a house to live in thou' it is not good enough since it's walls are made of mud with old irons sheets on the roof. We have a plan to purchase bricks so that we may put up a semipermanent house big enough to accommodate everyone in our household.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life in the last four months preceding the current transfer.
The biggest difference in my daily life is the purchase of a cow. This to me brought a great change in our household and everyone currently feels good that we have enough milk for use. We used to buy milk from the neighbourhood which could cost us a lot of money every month. We are glad that currently, we are having sufficient milk and also able to sale the surplus which in turn facilitate the purchase of other household goods and also in paying school fees for my children.
How do you expect your life to change in the next six months?
In the next six months I might not have changed anything completely but the construction of a new house will have started. Together with my wife, we have been actively participating in a table banking where we are currently expecting our turn. This will be a start of a great work in our household.

Do you have any new or additional goals for your life for the next four months?
I plan to buy a dairy cow. I rely on buying milk from my neighbors which has proved very expensive. I have been saving money in a merry go round that will soon be pooled for me. I will sell one heifer and put them together with my savings and buy one that is mature.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life in the last four months preceding the current transfer.
The biggest difference in my daily life in the last four months is the poultry project that I have been expanding. I collect eggs on a daily basis that generate about KES 100. I spend the money from eggs on household needs and this has made my daily life easier. My family constantly gets all the food they need because of this income. I am so glad that this money from GiveDirectly has improved my life.
How do you expect your life to change in the next six months?
I expect my life to have changed in many ways. I will have gotten rid of the expense of having to buy milk for daily consumption. I will, in fact, be making money from selling the extra milk that I will be producing. I also expect my poultry project to have further expanded because I keep on buying more every month and hatching more chickens. I see my self leaving a better life that will be sufficiently provided for.

How is your life currently different from how it was four months ago?
My life is currently different because of the diversified sources of income. In addition to my temporary job as a teacher in a local school, I collect eggs every day from a poultry project and will soon be a dairy producer. It is amazing to see myself as a dairy cow owner. I bought my first cow ever using the money I have been receiving from Give Directly. These two investments have secured my financial future as I continue searching for a permanent job. I am so happy that I can now easily meet my daily needs and those of my family using the money I get from the sale of eggs that I collect from my poultry.
Do you have any new or additional goals for your life for the next four months?
I plan to buy a dairy cow so that I cease from buying milk for daily consumption in my household. I spend over kes 2700 just on milk every month. I intend to start producing milk so that this cost is cut and even sell the surplus to make an additional income.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life in the last four months preceding the current transfer.
The biggest difference in my daily life is the daily income that I get from the poultry project that is currently expanding with every transfer that I get. This poultry keeping has become economically viable when I increased the number of chicken in the project using the money I received in the last four months. From the sale of eggs that I collect every day , the kes 3000 that I get has given me the ability to pay school fees for my firstborn who is in a private primary school. I am glad that the venture is enabling me to meet the school fees need comfortably.
How do you expect your life to change in the next six months?
I expect my life over the next six months to have improved because I will be a dairy farmer. I will have gotten another cow from the savings that I have and will continue to save. I know that the investment in dairy cows is still a priority so that it is a very reliable source of income for me and my entire family.

How is your life currently different from how it was four months ago?
Having enough food throughout the month had been difficult until GiveDirectly came to my village. I use the transfers to buy maize flour which I then store and uses it until the end of the month. I then use the next month's transfer to buy another stock. This has eased the burden and reduced my daily expenditure. I also have a poultry project which I would not have acquired were it not for GiveDirectly. This too generates an income that still goes towards meeting my daily needs. I am a proud father because I meet all the needs of my family and everyone is now happy.
Do you have any new or additional goals for your life for the next four months?
My next goal is to buy a dairy cow. I wish to get a mature cow that will be approaching production so that I get milk for both sale and consumption in my home.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life in the last four months preceding the current transfer.
The biggest difference in my life is that I have started a poultry project that I did not have before. I started the project by buying chicken and building a big poultry house from the savings I made in a merry go round group using these transfers. I bought 15 chicken from which I get about 10 eggs every day. Selling these eggs earns me about KES 100 per day. This is helping me to meet my daily needs with ease.
How do you expect your life to change in the next six months?
I expect my life to change in the next six months in that I will be owning a dairy cow. I expect to have received my contributions from my monthly go round savings group and will have fully paid for the cow. Owning livestock has been my greatest desire because it is a way of investment that gives good returns.
