Describe the biggest difference in your daily life.
My life is different because I repossessed my piece of land and I plan to set up my own home there since I'm sharing same compound with my mother in- law. Secondly, I also acquired solar energy as opposed to before when I used a torch which never gave me enough lighting.
Describe the moment when you received your money. How did you feel?
I felt excited because I got money for acquiring whatever I was lacking like a bed and piece of land for starting up my own home.
What did you spend your first transfer on?
Paid a debt and my piece of land worth UGX 650,000, saved UGX 300,000, bought household goods( a matress, a bed and a table) worth UGX 425000, bought building materials( timber ) worth UGX 120,000, paid labour worth UGX 95000, paid medical bills worth 40,000 and bought solar energy worth UGX 90,000.

What does receiving this money mean to you?
My plan is to spend Givedirectly unconditional cash for building iron-roofed house. Iam staying in an area which is bear and expensive to get thatching grass. It has proved difficult to maintain the current house and also do some savings for the family because of this costs. Once I build acomforble house, my family will in position to have a better accomadation. Also Money being spent on routine maitianing of the current house will be saved for providing basic needs to my family members.
What is the happiest part of your day?
The happiest moments is in the afternoon hours. Iam able to sit and relax while chatting with my family relatives and it has always relived me physcological.
What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
The biggest hardship I face is poverty. I do not have any a source of earning and as such lam un able to manage many family affairs satisfactory. This some times has led to no peace in the family since I end stressing my spouse.
