How is your life currently different from how it was four months ago?
Currently, I have peace of mind. I am more independent financially and this breakthrough is due to the saving culture I formulated. First I saved and bought some poultry which I used to venture into poultry rearing to help secure my future financially, something I have been dreaming about all these while but could not fulfil due to lack of an income generation activity. Secondly, I can now afford better clothes to put on which makes me look presentable among my peers. I am also confident of payment of any debts I take to help in the fulfilment of my little projects easily. My household can also afford better and healthy food daily for consumption.
Do you have any new or additional goals for your life for the next four months?
I do have a new goal of saving the transfers and register into a driving school to enable to acquire skills so that I can operate a taxi. This is lucrative and it will help me improve my lifestyle and that of my family.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life in the last four months preceding the current transfer.
When I started saving for the past few months, it was to set up a poultry farming project to help in the generation of income to help in improvement of our living standards as a family. It might not be at its peak right now, but the fact that I was able to buy more poultry in the past four months to add to the flock I already have is more than satisfying that it will do well eventually. I have a plan to fall back to financially as I can sell the poultry or their eggs in case of any emergency or even have some to consume to nourish us. That is so far how different my daily life has been.
How do you expect your life to change in the next six months?
At the end of the six months, I shall have saved part of the driving course fees if not all and registered for the driving lessons. I look forward to acquiring better driving skills which will see me land better employment opportunities.

How is your life currently different from how it was four months ago?
My life is currently different from how it was before Give Directly came into my life. Nowadays life is manageable. I can afford most of the basic needs unlike before. With this money, I now have hope of been successful in future because I now have the means to start the income-generating activities. I recently started a poultry farm using the money. Although I am still in the process of buying more items, I am glad that I have started it already and there is the hope of it growing and becoming successful
Do you have any new or additional goals for your life for the next four months?
My next goal is to join a driving school. I am not good in academics yet the job market needs someone with some sort of qualifications. I feel like I can't go back to school now but I can learn how to drive. I also enjoy driving I only need to make it official and make it a career by acquiring the necessary documents. I thank Give Directly for enabling me to do this.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life in the last four months preceding the current transfer.
The biggest difference in my life ever since I started receiving my transfers is that I am now hopeful in life. I am no longer depressed like I used to be previously. I even have the confidence to take loans because I now have the means to pay them. I used to do casual jobs that were very hard to do and paid lowly. Nowadays I do them to supplement what I already have. I am so grateful for the kind gesture this organization have shown us.
How do you expect your life to change in the next six months?
My next goal in the next six months is to buy a smartphone. We live in a digital world. Everything is done digitally. I need a smartphone which will help me do more business research. It will also help me advertise what I already have so that it will attract more customers. I am optimistic that I will own one very soon and I will be able to grow businesses wise

How is your life currently different from how it was four months ago?
Secondly, I have been able to eat every day of my life since I started receiving the transfers. I used to struggle to put food on the table since I did not have any source of income and would have to depend on others for food and other basic needs. In most cases, I would miss what to eat in a whole day. I would go for days without food but when I started receiving the transfers, I have been able to budget well with the money and I can say I am healthier than how I was before the transfers. I thank GD for the transfers.
Do you have any new or additional goals for your life for the next four months?
In the next four months, my new goal is to start a business. This will help me get a stable source of income to help sustain my needs. I would not want to depend on other people for survival anymore.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life in the last four months preceding the current transfer.
The biggest difference in my daily life since I started receiving these transfers is that I have had quality treatment for my leg. Right now I can be able to walk because I have been going for treatment every month as prescribed by the doctor. Before the transfers, I was not able to walk and was just lying on my bed. I would suffer in pain and hunger because I stay alone and would go without food because there was no one to care for me. With GD transfers, I have been able to go for treatment and I can be able to walk and handle some tasks to get paid to sustain my life.
How do you expect your life to change in the next six months?
In the next six months, I would want to buy household items such as a bed, seat and utensils. This is because I do not have any in my house and I sleep on a mat, sit on a jerrican and use very old utensils which I took from my parents' house. I would want to improve my status with the transfers.

How do you expect your life to change in the next six months?
In the next six months,I expect to have saved enough money to buy building materials to build a house of my own. This will earn me self respect in the village as people thought I was hopeless, but I will save these transfers wisely and prove them wrong.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life since you started receiving payments from GiveDirectly.
The biggest difference in my daily life since I started receiving payments is that my self esteem has really gone up because I am able to contribute to the family needs unlike before when I absolutely depended on my grandmother for everything. I am happy that I am also able to buy a few personal items without having to beg.
