Do you have any new or additional goals for your life for the next four months?
The next four months as a parent is to ensure that my children have their school fees settled and their upkeep is taken care of. This is the joy of every parent and through this, I get my fulfillment.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life in the last four months preceding the current transfer.
The biggest difference in my daily life in the last four months is that I have been able to purchase goats to rear. This was my dream but I did not have enough resources to realize it. Besides the rearing of goats, I have also settled my children's school fees comfortably unlike before when they had to be sent home this disrupted their sessions and caused a drop in their academic performance.
How do you expect your life to change in the next six months?
In the next six months, my prayer is to increase the number of goats and also settle my children's school fees. That way I will be the happiest parent alive.

How is your life currently different from how it was four months ago?
My life is different in the last four months in that I was able to get quality medication courtesy of GD transfers. I had an accident and since I could not go to work, I did not have any income to support my life. GD transfers helped me pay for medication and I am getting well fast because I was able to get medication at the right time. If it were not for the transfers, I really don't know how my life would have been by now since I am a widow.
Do you have any new or additional goals for your life for the next four months?
In the four months, I wish to buy building materials such as iron sheets, nails and timber. I plan to use the materials to build a rental house where I can earn extra income to help me meet all my needs in time and give my children the best in life.

The biggest difference in my daily life since I started receiving these transfers is that I have been able to clear school fees arrears for my children in school. This is a rare case in my life since I do not have a good income to help me meet all my needs in time. I have a minimal income from my work as a domestic worker which is majorly for household basic needs. I have been majorly focusing the transfers on school fees which have reduced my financial burden.
How do you expect your life to change in the next six months?
I expect my life to change in the six months in that I will have managed to make a step towards building some rental houses in my compound. I am determined to save the money so that I can achieve the goal and boost my financial life.

When you get out to look for a job, your prayer is always that you get paid on time. Unfortunately, this has never worked for me. I am always paid late when I take these odd jobs, but I do not have an option but continue doing them, even though I am always behind schedule in everything that requires money, like paying school fees for my children, buying food and other basics needs. When I started receiving money from GiveDirectly, I felt so happy. Currently, I am glad I am on time when it comes to meeting needs. I pay school fees on time, buy food on time, or even settling debts. My children are in school and able to find food always. This is the daily difference in my current life. Thanks to GiveDirectly.
How do you expect your life to change in the next six months?
I am not sure what is in store for me in the next six months. I can only wait as I continue receiving these transfers which I will use most part of it on the poultry keeping project. These hopefully will make me some profits that will enable me to sustain my family more comfortably.
