What did you spend your third transfer on?
I spent my third transfer on purchase of a piece of land for 50,000 KES , where we intend to build our home in the near future and shift from the rented house at the shopping centre where we are currently living. This was necessitated by the fact that we have no land in our ancestral home so there is no room for us to build as a couple. We even have a balance of 30,000 KES to pay the land owner, but it is not a big issue because with my second transfer we agreed with my husband that I start a Retail Shop business using 45,000 KES.I always wanted a retail shop business but we had no Capital until GD sent us Grants. As we talk, I have just bought stock worth 50,000 KES for the shop, in addition to the stock that was there this morning, I even have the Receipt with me. And believe it or not, I have a total profit of 42,000 KES saved in my MPESA Account , which we shall use to pay the balance for the piece of land .I still sell 2 bags of charcoal on the side, which is the business I had before receiving GD Grants. Thank you very much for transforming our lives.
