How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
My life is different than it would have been if I never received money because am stress free, I don't think alot and I sleep for longer hours compared to when I had not received the money.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
In my opinion Give Directly does well to deliver the money directly to the rightful beneficiries. Give Directly did not do well not to enroll people who did not have national Identity Cards money because some of them, it was not their faults not to have them but government delays. They also did not do well not to consider people who were not at home during enrollment for genuine reasons like those in hospital.
What did you spend your second transfer on?
I spent my second transfer on stocking food (maize, cassava, ground nuts and sorghum) so that I can eat and sell some in the future when the prices go high. I have kept the balance of 500, 000ugx and I intend to use it for buying a cow.
