What did you spend your second transfer on?
I spent most of the transfer to pay dowry since getting enough money that could do this has been a problem, l also spent the transfer to buy furniture being that l did not have anything to sit on l could ever borrow furniture when l have visitors. The remaining balance l spent to buy bed and mattress and now l am sleeping in a very comfortable place.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
In my opinion Give directly did very well by giving people nonrefundable transfer to improve their lives something that has never been done before. I did not see anything that Give Directly did not do well.
How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
My life different if l could not have received the transfer is that l could still be sitting in a water container and sleep on a mart. My spouse also could not have manage to pay dowry.

I spent my first transfer on enlarging our current house and improving its structure because it has been very small and unpresentable and it was urgent to make it better.

The moment when I received my money I felt indescribable joy because I could do much with the money.

What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
The biggest hardship in my life is building a better house for my family because all of the money that I earn is usually spent on food.
What is the happiest part of your day?
The happiest part of my day is usually during the evening especially when the day is fruitful and I manage to earn some money.
What does receiving this money mean to you?
Receiving this money means that our life will change because we will invest in poultry business and sell both eggs and chicken. In this way we will save money to finance our children's education in the near future.
