What did you spend your third transfer on?
I spent the larger part of my third transfer on building a kitchen and now my children have a place to sleep comfortably.I also bought two bags of maize 12,000 KES for my family's consumption.
How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
My life is different than it would have been if I never received the transfer in that I am now living in a decent spacious iron sheet house and now I no longer stay in a small leaky grassed thatched house. I am thankful to GiveDirectly for changing my living standards.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
In my opinion, GiveDirectly did well by giving us money and through this money our lives have changed since we now have enough food to feed on despite the drought we were facing and some of us have built decent houses too.

What did you spend your second transfer on?
I spent my second transfer to buy building materials that I used to build an iron roofed house. I have been staying in a grass thatched house which was leaking and we could be rained on whenever it rained.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life.
The biggest difference in my daily life is that I have a roof over my head. My children are no longer rained on. I am also able to harvest water from my iron roofed house. Thanks to GiveDirectly.
