What did you spend your third transfer on?
I invested a larger portion of the transfer in fish business. I also purchased other household items with the rest of the transfer.
How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
My life is different in that I now own a business which provide my family with the basic needs. Without GD, I couldn't have been able to fend for my family since the demise of my spouse. I think I could have been working for people in the village to earn a living.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
What GD does well is that it is determine to improve the livelihood of the very poor in the community. As we speak, I'm not sure what GD doesn't do well.

What did you spend your second transfer on?
I spent my second transfer to pay dowry for my wife so that I fulfill the customary laws of my tribe. At least now we are free and I do not owe them anything. Using the remaining amount, I spent on paying hospital bills being that I am asthmatic.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life.
The biggest difference in my daily life is that I have paid my wife's dowry. I have obliged to the traditions and I am now free.

I spent my first transfer to restock my second hand clothe business.
What are you planning to spend your upcoming transfer on?
I currently live in a rental house and this is very expensive so with the second transfer, am planning to build my own house in my own compound, buy household items and also pay some part of it as dowry.

What are you planning to spend your transfer on?
I plan to use the transfer on the building a another house because my current one is not in a good state.I also intend to use the transfer in starting goat selling business.l will be buying the goats and reselling them at profit in our local market.
What is the achievement you are proudest of?
My proudest achievement is that l own two cows.One is producing milk for my family.l also sell some milk that bring income to my family.
What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
My biggest hardship in my life paying school fees myself in a youth training college.I was studying a certficate course in building and construction course but l dropped our due to lack of fees.
What is the happiest part of your day?
My happiest part of my day is in the evening when spending time with my family after a day's work.
