What did you spend your second transfer on?
I spent my second transfer for buying a cow at 650,000Ugx, 3 bags of maize at 300,000Ugx, a matress and a bed at 250,000Ugx, clothings at 200,000Ugx, a bag cassava at 170,000Ugx and a bag of sorghum at 100,000Ugx.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
In my opinion Give Directly has done well to full fill its promise of giving people in my village money direct and Give Directly has not done any thing bad.
How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
My life is different in that l have bought a cow and built an iron roofed house with Give Directly's transfer, l wouldn't have bought a cow and built a house without this transfer.

What did you spend your first transfer on?
I spent my first transfer on renovating a permanent house and I also bought some iron sheets which I used to roof my kitchen. I also paid my mortgage of 400,000 UGX, and I spent a portion of the cash to buy some household utensils.
Describe the moment when you received your money. How did you feel?
At that moment I was asleep when my son woke me up and told me that I had received money. I was so happy that I could not believe my ears until the next day when I withdrew the money. I was so happy and I am still happy for the cash transfer that Givedirectly sent me.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life.
My life is now much better and I am very happy because Givedirectly helped me to renovate my house which I sleep in. Before this support, I was sleeping in a leaking house with old Iron sheets which I was able to replace and my house is now conducive.

The bigest hardship I have faced in my life is when my husband fell sick and eventually died at a time when i still needed him.
What is the happiest part of your day?
The happiest part of my day is in the morning when i wake up healthy and do my garden work normally.
What does receiving this money mean to you?
Receiving this money means, my house will be complete, I will be able to buy a piece of land, and also food will be there.
