What did you spend your third transfer on?
I spent my third transfer on purchasing of cement and sand in readiness for plastering our for 38,000 KES when I get more money since I need to have the house strong and it should last for many years to come, which can not be the case as long as the house is still made of mud. I payed 8,000 KES as fees for our children.

What did you spend your second transfer on?
I spent my second transfer on buying 24 pieces of iron sheets 20,000 KES and nails 4000 KES . I also started a small hotel business for my wife. I also bought food for my family's consumption.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life.
The biggest difference in my daily life is that I have added my household's income by starting a small hotel vending business for wife and this is the biggest motivation for us as a family hence getting basic needs for my family has seized to be a problem since we have a reliable source of income.I have also bought the necessary building materials and now I am assured of building a decent house that I have been longing for in a long time.Thanks to GiveDirectly.

What did you spend your first transfer on?
I spent part of my first transfer to purchase Iron sheets that I am planning to use to expand my current house. Its only one room and very squeezed.It cannot comfortably accommodate my family. The remaining amount I used to buy food for my family.

My biggest hardship has been paying for my children as I get casual jobs that are not promising and not well paying to cater for the school fees.

My happiest part of the day is in the morning when I've woken up well and when none of my family members is ill.
What does receiving this money mean to you?
Receiving this money means a life changing moment, I foresee my life and family's changed to be better than it used to be. My current house is so small that rarely accommodates us and on that note I'd wished to construct a more spacious house when I receive the transfer.
