What did you spend your third transfer on?
I spent my third transfer on paying for my wife's medication and I also spent part of the remaining transfer on renovating my house
How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
My life is different because I was able to build a new house and I was also able to pay for my wife's medication, at least now she is progressing well were it not for Give Directly my wife could still be very sick
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
What Give Directly has done well is improving people's lives through sending cash directly to their recipients and then we get to decide by ourselves on how to spend the transfer, I don't see what Give Directly hasn't done well

I spent my transfer to plaster the floor and walls of my house and also buy some iron sheets to enlarge it since it was quite small.

I spent the first transfer to buy a goat at 2,500 KES, used 2,500 KES on digging a borehole, used 2,500 KES on hospital bills for my sick wife, paid 1,500 KES school fee for my child in primary school.then used the rest on food for my family.

What are you planning to spend your transfer on?
We're planning to spend our transfer on medication for both my wife and myself since we're sickly mostly and we will use the remaining amount to renovate our current house and have it fully cemented.
What is the achievement you are proudest of?
The achievement we're proudest of is having been able to use the little money we get to seek for medication..From the year 2013 our life has been full of sickness but we thank God for the far he has brought us.
What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
The biggest hardship we face currently is the constant sickness of my wife and myself,we've used almost every penny we have on medication leaving us with little or nothing to fend for the family.
What is the happiest part of your day?
The happiest part of my day is in the morning when I'm clearing my compound and planting or watering my trees.
