Describe the biggest difference in your daily life.
My daily life has improved in that, I live happily because I got more land for agriculture and an ox to plough that land. Previously, I had limited land to cultivate my crops and also found it difficult to plough them since I relied on borrowing oxen.
Describe the moment when you received your money. How did you feel?
I fell on my knees with a heart full of gratitude and excitement to God for the money that I received. I had been intimidated by my fellow community members who had already received there money already that I was going to miss out on this golden opportunity.
What did you spend your first transfer on?
I used Ugx 600000 of my first transfer to hire agricultural land and bought an Ox worth Ugx 800000. I also used the balance for settling the medical bills for my spouse and feeding.

What does receiving this money mean to you?
Receiving this money means my family will be able to start up shop business. My house has been depending on farming as a main source of earning, which is so unreliable due the rain partners. Givedirectly money I will invest on setting up a shop business within the village, selling iteams like food stuffs, drinks like soda, juice and others. The village mates will be buying things from my shop. The interests realise from this business will improve my earnings, so I will be in position to sustain the family needs.
What is the happiest part of your day?
My happiest moments is always morning hours. It's normally when I feel healthy and Iam able to plan for my family well-being.
What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
My child is so sickly with maleria which is a big challeng I face. The little money I get from farming is spent on his treatment. It's therefore affecting my savings hence I have remained vulnerable since, I can not afford other basic needs like food, good shelter , beddings for my family.
