What did you spend your third transfer on?
I spent my third transfer on purchasing decent clothes for my children, bought seats since I had old ones and invested part of the money on a grocery business to get income. I also purchased a bag of maize for the family consumption and spent the larger percentage of the amount on purchasing a bull with an intention of using it in cultivating my parcel of land.
How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
My life is different than it would have been if I never received the transfer in that, I managed to invest in a grocery business which is currently doing well and from the profits I have been able to easily take care of the family needs unlike before.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
In my opinion, what GiveDirectly did well is giving out lumpsum cash transfers which enable recipients to engage in big projects like building houses.
