How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
My life is different now in that, I can plan because I have my investment and I believe I can defeat this vice called poverty affecting Africa as a globe. Now I earn some income on daily basis that helps me cater for my needs. Prior to receiving this money, I lived hopeless life because there was no means I could generate daily income to cater for my basic needs.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
In my view, I love the fact that GD decided to help us the needy. GD has improved people's standards of living for example, I have noticed in my community that most people have constructed houses, bought household items, medical attention and started businesses among others. To me, everything went on well with GD.
What did you spend your second transfer on?
I spent my transfer on purchasing a welding machine. I decided to buy this machine because I have experience in welding and this was the only thing that could benefit me from this program since it's a long term investment.

The biggest difference in my daily life is that I have hope and confidence to fight poverty. With the business of welding that am going to start, my life will never remain the same.
