I spent my first transfer on buying high breed maize seeds which I planted on my farm and later paid some casual laborers who assisted me during weeding of the farm. I also bought some corn which we are using for our feeding.

I was on my way home from a funeral that I had attended when I received the money I almost got out of the vehicle while it was moving due to the excitement and joy that I was feeling at that time.

What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
The biggest hardship that I face right now is lack of enough money to adequately feed my large family. The price of foodstuff keeps rising every day and with my limited finances I cannot be able to adequately feed my family.
What is the happiest part of your day?
The happiest part of my day is in the evening when I am cooking something apart from vegetables for my family. This is because we often eat vegetables alot and whenever we get some meat to eat I am always very happy.
What does receiving this money mean to you?
Receiving this money means that my granddaughter will finally be able to get a college education because I will pay tuition fees for her.
