What did you spend your third transfer on?
I used the last transfer to buy two new steel doors. I managed to fix the two new doors. Part of the money was also used to buy and fix two new windows. I also used part of that money to pay the technicians who were fixing the doors and windows.

What did you spend your second transfer on?
I spent my second transfer on buying steel doors that I fixed in my house. I used to have wooden doors that had been destroyed by termites. I also spent some of the money to buy food and pay electricity bills that I had accrued after I failed to pay for sometime. I am now at peace with myself and GiveDirectly has face lifted my home.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life.

What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
The biggest hardship in my life was when I lost my husband who was the sole bread winner to the family five years ago through an accident, I was forced to come in and find something to do in order to sustain the family. This has been so difficult for me.
What is the happiest part of your day?
I am happiest during the afternoon period when I am having a rest from a day's labour.
What does receiving this money mean to you?
I feel so happy about receiving the money because it will create a big impact in my life, being a widow, I am the sole bread winner for my family and sometimes it becomes so difficult to sustain my family from the subsistence farming I do.
