What did you spend your third transfer on?
When I received my third transfer, I completed the construction of my main house of 25 iron sheets that I had started with first and second transfer. I used the remaining 20000 KES to pay school fees for my 2 daughters in a secondary school and used the rest for buying food that has been sustaining us through this hard economic time since then.
How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
My life is different than it would have been if I never received the transfer because, I no longer suffer from malaria that I could always contract in paddy fields cultivating for people to earn a living. Currently, I have money that I can spend the way I want-buying food and running my development projects. Again, educating my children after receiving this money has been that a smoother experience-they don't need to stay out of school when the rest are learning and I get I am able to pay for them fee in time without begging around for help.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
In my own opinion, what Give Directly did well was enlightening us in a more friendly manner before sending us this money but it never did us proud by terminating the help a moment when Kenya was facing a tough economics time.

Describe the biggest difference in your daily life.
I was one person who could be looked for by the elite in the community to do odd jobs. I thank God that since I started receiving the GiveDirectly transfers,I have taken a pause on that. My family has been able to eat at least comfortably. This is the biggest difference in my daily life. Thanks to GiveDirectly and I ask God to bless the organization.
