What did you spend your third transfer on?
Yes on medication, school fees and food! I used my third transfer to pay for my medical operation charges, I had lower abdominal hernia , but I healed and I am now okay. I also bought food and paid school fees for my children.
How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
I would have died of lower abdominal hernia if I had not received transfers from GiveDirectly. With the support of this money, I managed to be operated from Nakavule Hospital in Iganga Town, and I now live normally.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
GiveDirectly does a well to give money unconditionally to the poor people, giving cell phones free of charge, and sending us money via mobile money. However, I wish all people in the community benefit from GiveDirectly program.
