How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
My life has improved for the better in that, I have owned cows that I intend to resell in two years time to acquire my own plot of land. I am currently staying on a small peice of land that was given to me by my uncle to use for awhile.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
GiveDirectly did well to give me cash that enabled me purchase cows and household items. On my side GiveDirectly has done well only.
What did you spend your second transfer on?
I spent my second transfer to purchase 2 cows, clothes and food. I have not yet spent UGX 200,000 but I am planning to spend it for harvesting my crop.

Describe the biggest difference in your daily life.
The biggest difference in my daily life is that, I own livestock that that I hope to sell in the future in order to acquire more land for my family. This makes my everyday life more enjoyable. Previously, I didn't have money to buy land or livestock and it made me very insecure about my future.

The moment I received the money, I felt very happy. This is because I knew this transfer would enable me buy livestock.
What did you spend your first transfer on?
I spent my first transfer on livestock i.e three cows worth Ugx 1300000. I also bought clothes and a mattress at Ugx 50000 and 54000 respectively. I intend to spend the balance on weeding my crops.
