How is your life currently different from how it was four months ago?
I have been capable of buying household items bed for kids who now have a very comfortable place to sleep in. I also bought some utensils and clothes for my children. eat good food. The transfers have also enabled me to boost my business by buying more stock which mean high profits gained. When we received the first transfers, we formed a saving s group to help us save and fulfil our long term goals. This I can say, has nurtured a saving culture in me. So far, that is how my life has been different in the past four months.
Do you have any new or additional goals for your life for the next four months?
I have a new goal of venturing into poultry farming for the financial security of the family. We can sell the chicken and eggs to raise income the family or we can consume some to nourish us.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life in the last four months preceding the current transfer.
The business that I have is the main source of income for my family. The biggest difference inmy daily life i steh fact tha I was able to save and buy more stock that I used to boost my business. By doing this, the profit margin rises which mean there is a change in our lifestyle as we can easily afford to buy food daily, pay the school fee for my children and even buy them clothes to put on their backs. I do not have to depend on any relative for financial support anymore.
How do you expect your life to change in the next six months?
I expect to have bought the building materials and extended my small house which will now accommodate my large family comfortably. The sofa seats that I am still paying for will also be in my possession too. By then, I shall have ventured into poultry farming which will help in raising income for the family.

How is your life currently different from how it was four months ago?
My life is currently different because I do not depend on anyone for financial security. I have managed to boost my business which now generates a lot of income which means we dress well, we eat well and also have a peace of mind. Previously, I used to ask my husband everything which resulted in a lot of conflicts between us.

I am saving in a merry-go-round towards boosting my business which will generate more income for my family.

How is your life currently different from how it was four months ago?
I now have a business which generates more income for my family. I managed to set up this business by saving the transfers I received from GiveDirectly. My living standards have improved tremendously as my children wear beautiful clothes, eat more healthy foods and are not sent home away from school due to outstanding fee balances which I managed to clear in time. The most satisfying part is that I do not have to depend on my husband so much to provide all these for my children.
Do you have any new or additional goals for your life for the next four months?
I do not have any new goal but would wish to save even more and boost my business as it is the main source of income in my household.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life in the last four months preceding the current transfer.
When I started receiving transfers from GiveDirectly, I saved some of it to start up a new business as the pre-existing one was not generating enough income to sustain my growing family. My children and I now have a way of eradicating our poverty levels as we no longer have to depend much on my husband's meagre income for our sustainability.
How do you expect your life to change in the next six months?
I am still planning to save more to boost my business which I take pride in as it generates my family good income. I expect to save some more to buy building materials to use in building a new home as we do have a smaller house that hardly accommodates my large family. My lifestyle will be so different by then as I will eat healthy food, dress well and live in a beautiful house.
