How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
I never imagined that I would ever build a better house anytime soon were it not for Give Directly. I used to have a made wall house with a grass touched roof which was leaking. I used to pray that one day that I shall build a new one but now I have a good house which is more spacious.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
I had never been happy before like when I just received my transfers. This organization was never biased to anyone.
What did you spend your second transfer on?
The second transfer which I received, I spent part of it to purchase building materials. The remaining amount, I spent on buying furniture and utensils all which I didn't have before Give Directly came.

Describe the biggest difference in your daily life.
The biggest difference in my life is living in a good house. Sleeping has become a good resting time as I no longer have a problem that used to leave me sleepless. I used to toss and turn all night long as I was always worried about the next day's provisions. Currently, my house gives me a lot of peace.
Describe the moment when you received your money. How did you feel?
I have never been as happy as I felt that day. This is the highest amount of money I have ever received at once in my entire life When my child read the message to me, it dawned on me that we were going to change many things that were bothering me. I would build a nice house that I had always desired. from that moment and I was. I immediately went to withdraw and hurried back home with the money and started planning.
What did you spend your first transfer on?
I spent the money I received on building a house. I was living in an old grass thatched hut that was too small for my family. I bought iron roofing materials and wood. I then bought a ready-made door and two windows. A part of the money went to the house's construction labor. The house is now complete and my entire family is very happy that we have it. I also paid school fees for my child and bought utensils. I bought cups and a thermos flask.
