What did you spend your third transfer on?
I spent my third transfer on buying chairs and other household furniture so that my family can get a place to sit . I also spent part of the transfer on paying school fee for my child so that he is not sent home due to fee arrears.
How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
The biggest difference in my life is living in a new house which is fully furnished. I'm very grateful to GD.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
In my opinion, GD has done well by transforming the life of vulnerable people in the village. GD has not done well by stopping the transfer.

My own privacy as increased because I have my own room separated from that of children, I'm also able to invite my church members to my house more frequent that before.

From my first transfer, I spent 5,000 KES to pay school fees, spent 2,500 KES to buy clothes for my children, 5 tins of maize at 600 KES and the remaining 1,700 KES I spent on food and other household expenditures.

What are you planning to spend your transfer on?
I plan to buy bulls for farming. I would use this bulls to plough my farm and also hire them to other villagers to get some income.I will also use part of the money to buy building materials like iron sheet, nails and pay for labour to build a bigger house since my current one is so small.
What is the achievement you are proudest of?
I am proud because I have worked hard and educated my three children upto form four,and the other one in form one.
What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
My biggest hardship is that I lack money to pay school college fees for my children who completed secondary education.
What is the happiest part of your day?
The happiest part of my day is at night when I am going to bed after taking dinner with my family.
