What did you spend your third transfer on?
When I received my third transfer, I spent it on 2 cows. I decided to spend the whole amount on livestock since I realized that if I could spend this money as opposed to investing it, I would go back to hard life-wallowing in poverty. I can now talk with a lot of courage since Give Directly has given me a sustainable wealth.
How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
My life is different than it would have been if I never received cash transfer in that I managed to go back to school and currently, I have more skills and knowledge that can help me change the world.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
What Give Directly does well is that it sends us money directly. However, I would encourage it to enroll more than the number they offered help last time. I have a feeling that not all the poorest were reached to and there is need to improve on this.
