What did you spend your third transfer on?
I used a portion of the transfer to settle my collage fee. I ues a portion of the transfer to repair my house because it was in bad state. Besides, I spent the rest of the transfer on family foodstuffs.
How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
My life is different in that I managed to settle my collage fee and I'm at the verge of graduating. Without GD support, I could have dropped out of collage due to financial inadequecy.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
What GD does well is that it reaches out to the recipient directly without engaging government officials. Having said that, GD have aught to issue the money in one go to allow recipient execute their desires in one go.

What did you spend your second transfer on?
I spent my second transfer on paying my college fee for 30000 KES so that I can continue with my studies without any limitation. The remaining cash I spent on buying 6 goats for rearing.

We are planning to spend our transfer on paying school fees for our children, and also to furnish our house.
What is the achievement you are proudest of?
The achievement I am proudest of is building my own house with the money I saved from doing part time teaching job at a local primary school.
What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
The biggest hardship I am facing is the fact that some of our children have grown up but they don't have any place to sleep in, except in our main house, which is sort of embarrassing.

The happiest part of my day is in the morning when I am taking either a cup of tea or porridge.
