What did you spend your third transfer on?
I spent my third transfer on renting land for farming purposes and bought food for the family consumption. I also bought hybride seeds and fertilizer with an intention of getting more yields and used the larger percentage of the amount on painting my house to look decent.
How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
My life is different than it would have been if I never received the transfer in that, I have been able to pay school fees easily for my grandchildren who are orphans and painted my house and my visitors says that it looks nice.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
In my opinion, what GiveDirectly did well was dealing with the recipient individually even when sending the transfer. No one was discriminated upon and most importantly their was follow up to know how everyone used the money after each transfer sent.

What did you spend your second transfer on?
When I received my second transfer, I used a larger portion to buy construction materials to complete my house that was underway. I used the remaining to buy three sheep that I will sell in future to pay fee for my grandchildren.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life.
The biggest difference in my life is self satisfaction as my household lives in a smart modern house.

What did you spend your first transfer on?
I spent the first transfer on buying two sheep 6,000KES and food for my family 1,000KES.I also paid school fees 3,000KES.
What are you planning to spend your upcoming transfer on?
I am planning to spend the upcoming transfer on paying school fees for next year to all my children and grandchildren that I take of. I also have a plan of renovating my house by plastering and painting it.

What are you planning to spend your transfer on?
We plan to use part of the transfer in buying bulls for ploughing ,and to use the remaining money in paying school fees for my orphaned grandchildren in form three and form two.
What is the achievement you are proudest of?
We gave managed to build a permanent house for us,and also educated our three orphaned grandchildren up to secondary school.

Our biggest challenge is raising school fees for our three grandchildren in secondary school.
What is the happiest part of your day?
My happiest part of my day is when singing daily in the evening in my local church.
