What did you spend your third transfer on?
I spent the third transfer on paying school fee for my son who is in high school. I also bought an ox for ploughing which has really changed my farming style. I then bought water pipes which I am using for directing irrigation water to my farm.
How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
My confidence has been boosted from all the things that I have been able to achieve form the transfers I have got. If someone asked me for financial assistance now I could give it but previously I hopelessly poor that no one ever thought to approach me for assistance because I myself needed it.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
I can say that the direct cash disbursement gives individuals a better chance of meeting their most immediate needs without having to be given things that they do not need at a given time. I do not see any fault in Give directly operations.
