I spent my third transfer on buying food, some household items, I also payed school fees for my two children who are still in school, I also spent the remaining transfer on buying Iron sheet, nails, a steel door and glasses that I used in renovating my house that I had already built with my second transfer
How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
My life is different because am now able to afford to pay school fees for my children and I was also able to build a new house, now I have a home of my own
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
Give Directly sends money to their recepients directly without following a lot of channels before the cash reaches the actual recipient and Give Directly also fulfills their promises, I don't see anything that they haven't done well

What did you spend your second transfer on?
I used the second transfer to pay school fees. With this my children are not going to be sent home for fees this term. I also used some of the money to put up a steel door for security because my village is not safe and the wooden door I had could easily be broken be brought down. Steel door also means security from night runners.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life.
I now don't have to worry about my children being sent home to collect school fees for this term. I feel secure because I have put up a strong steel door. I feel peaceful because I am no longer scared of night runners breaking into my house. I feel totally safe.
