Describe the biggest difference in your daily life.
The biggest difference in my daily life is that mere fact that I got money that has enabled me to improve the life of my household and soon, I will be able to start a business that will enable me to generate an income to support my family on a daily basis. Prior to getting this transfer, I really had no idea of getting into such a business as all I thought of was doing casual labor and personal farming to raise money to support my family.
Describe the moment when you received your money. How did you feel?
The moment I received my money, I felt happy as I had also got this chance from GiveDirectly.
What did you spend your first transfer on?
I spent my first transfer Ugx 900000 to buy two cows. I then bought some house hold items such as a bed, bed sheets, mattress, clothes, curtains, radio, food, and other small usables like sugar, soap, salt. I am saving up some money Ugx 250000 that plan to use to start up a business.
