Clara
received a $23 twelfth payment.
"In the next six months we expect to have fully settled in our new house. It is at this time that I also expect to have experienced the full potential of my small land as I will have started reaping from our farm produce. This I know will ease the burden of us toiling day in day out to put food on the table for the family. My family will definitely be happier than this and I will be a proud parent."

Charity
received a $50 fourth payment.
"The biggest difference in my daily life is that I can now move to a better house. Our houses were demolished in the recent demolitions that were planned by the government, in a bid to get rid of houses that were built in wrong places. I fell victim of this and I was forced to rent a cheap house in a rush so that I do not sleep out in the cold. My business is now supporting me and I am yet to move a better house."

Benard
received a $23 twelfth payment.
"In the next six months, I expect to buy my own oxen-drawn plow. This is the most lucrative business in a village and from it, I will be able to earn some additional income. From the additional income, I will be able to pay my children's school fee promptly."

Elizabeth
received a $366 second payment.
"I spent my most recent transfer to expand my clothes business. I sell second hand clothes in Embakasi West ward along Pipeline Estate just by the road near the railway lines. I started out by assisting my cousin with her business in the same place, whereby she would pay me a small stipend at the end of every month. I used to sell for her children's clothing. I assisted my cousin for about two months before I received my transfers and started my own clothes business just near where she sells hers. I bought some denim trousers with my first transfers from Gikomba market and resold them at the same place. I expanded this business with my second transfers by purchasing a whole bale of denim trousers at 30000 KES. My business has been doing well since I first started."

Marcella
received a $23 twelfth payment.
"I believe after I get to expand my business, I do expect more income which I will save to buy a piece of land where I would do farming. Currently, we have a small piece of land which is not enough to carry out meaningful farming so that I can get another source of income."
