Zainab
received a $27 sixth payment.
"The moment I started receiving my transfers is the moment I started having hopes and believing that my future is bright. I have always had a dream of becoming great and accomplishing all the purpose in which I was created for and also helping my parents. After college, I believe I will get a very good job that will help me give back to my community and parents. In the meantime, I would want to sell Vegetables to my community people and get enough profit. The selling of vegetables is just what I will do while waiting for a good job but my goal is to be great."

Furaha
received a $27 fourteenth payment.
"I believe all my hard work will pay off someday and it will not be in vain that I wake up early and I sleep late. My job does not bring in a lot of profit so I want to invest in something else so that at the end of time I will have a variety of sources that bring me profit. I want to start by buying a lot of chicken and when they hatch I can easily sell them and buy goats. When I buy goats they can easily multiply. When they do so, I get enough to sell and buy dairy cows and bulls. I really want to get a bull and a cow so that I can use the bull till my land and the dairy cow I milk them and drink the milk and the remaining milk I easily sell them. The selling of milk will bring in some profit and the bull will help me save my energy and at times I can rent it to someone and get paid at the end of day. This will help me easily multiply my wealth without incurring a lot of cost."

"Life has become hard because of scarcity of food, I have a banana plantation but it has not yielded much. Because of this I have had to depend on my husband Who works in the market in Bukigai selling Ripe banana to bring food home. Though sometimes he fails to get market for his bananas and we are forced to stay hungry without a full meal."

"My challenge right now is lack of finances. This has made it so hard for me to acquire basic needs, like food, school fees for my children.
I have always wished to own a cow for the purpose of milk production for consumption for my family and acquire land for large scale farming, but it has not been possible due to no money."

Dama
received a $27 sixth payment.
"My plan is to buy livestock, particularly goats, and let them multiply as I could easily sell them in the future to raise funds for my household’s needs. Am motivated to use cash transfers to accomplish this goal because I have no reliable source of funds. Having already bought three goats using the previous transfers, I would be happy if the heard grew to at least five by the end of the year."

Dama
received a $27 sixth payment.
"Around this time next year, I wish to have built a new house for my family. Our current dwelling is in poor shape and the grass-thatched roof could easily collapse anytime. Given the huge financial constraints, would be happy if I constructed at least a one-room house, with mud walls and a tin roof. To effect this plan, I have been saving $10 every month."

Rehema
received a $27 sixth payment.
"I wish to have started rearing chickens by the end of this year. Since I lack a source of income, and given that am a housewife, livestock keeping is the surest way I could raise funds to support my children’s needs. Besides, having this alternative income stream would relieve my husband of the pressure that he undergoes to provide for us. "
