"I have a lot of goals for this year, but my top priority is to save enough money to launch a business. It would be wise to start another profitable business since I don't make enough money from selling charcoal to support my family. In this regard, I want to launch a small kiosk business selling fruits, vegetables, and fish that are fresh. I'll eventually turn the company into a fast-food restaurant and make a fortune."

"Lack of reliable source of income is the challenge I am currently facing. My husband is jobless here at home and I do sell firewood as my job. I have a family of nine members seven being children. I have so far bough nails worth $4 and 3 iron sheets at $30 and will add to this number as the year goes by."

"My uncle is a trailer driver, he has promised me if I am able to get a driving license he will teach me how the trailer transport business works for a year and then help me secure a job with his employers. I saved $30 from February transfers and I hope to get to $180 which will be sufficient for this training. I want to be able to get this opportunity because I now do Motorcycle taxi business and I am not making much and I would like to change this. I also live in a one room house with my family, I want to expand to at least a three roomed house. My hope is I will have enough money to put up this new structure for my family."

"My aim for this year is to finally get myself an economic activity. I do nit have a job and my husband is a casual construction worker. Her does nit make much since construction jobs have significantly reduced. My hope is to become a shop owner. I want to start saving at least $5 from each transfer until I get to $100 which I will use to set up the general shop. I also want to build my family a bigger house. we are a family of four that lives in a one room house which is not sufficient. I want to add a two room house which will mean we will have three rooms for my family."

As I had mentioned earlier I am saving monthly $30 of my transfer which is getting me closer to my goal. I also want to go back to animal farming. I used to have chicken before and the number had greatly increased, when I has 50 chicken, I exchanged 10 for a goat until I got 6 goats. This goats gave birth to young ones which grew and after selling them I got to owning two cows which unfortunately died due to the drought. I now want to start rearing chicken and my hope is as the year progresses I will get to this numbers which will allow me go back to where I used to be with my animals."

"As a widow and the only provider for my family, my goal is to ensure that my children can attend school. I have a deep conviction that education will provide them with opportunities. They will be helpful to me because of this. To reduce their fee arrears, I shall use at least half of every transfer I get each month to reduce their fee arrears. The remainder will come in handy in terms of buying food, especially on days when I do not have any other sources of income."
