My life different than it would have been if never received the Because before I use to buy milk and it was costly for me and the amount that I could have used to buy milk, I have save to pay the school for my children.

GiveDirectly does well, By giving us money to meet our household basic needs and even to pay school fees for our children in school.
What did you spend your second transfer on?
I spend my second transfer on buying five heifers, I had one cow before and the milk that I use to buy milk and it was costly for me, I know buying this heifer in future will enable me to get milkfor the family and the remaining amount I bought food for the family.

Describe the biggest difference in your daily life.
The biggest difference in my daily life is the fact that I now have four calves and in the coming four years I will sell them and use the money I will get to buy a farm for my family.

I was overwhelmed with joy the moment I received my money.

I spent my first transfer to buy four calves worth 32000 KES, two sheep worth 7000 KES, two sacks 90 Kg maize and both school uniforms and home clothes for my children.

Receiving this money means that I am finally going to own a land.I am planning to spend the transfers on buying land.

The happiest part of my day is in the morning.It is then that I feel positive of what the day might bring.
What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
The biggest hardship I have faced in my life is my son's sickness.He was diagnosed with celebral malaria early this year and since then he hasnt recovered fully.It was one of the toughest moment in my life apart from the pain he was undergoing,I did not have enough money to pay his hospital bill we had to sell the small piece of land to clear it.
